Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Ridefy ("the Service"), operated by Procode Oy ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ridefy is a community-based ride sharing platform that enables users to share rides with trusted members of private and public communities. Ridefy provides the technology platform only — we do not provide transportation services and are not a transportation carrier.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Ridefy.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Account information must be accurate and up to date.
• One person may maintain only one account.

4. User Responsibilities

Drivers must:

• Hold a valid driver's license and adequate insurance
• Maintain a roadworthy vehicle
• Comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations
• Only charge cost-sharing amounts (fuel, tolls, wear) — Ridefy is not for commercial transport

All users must:

• Treat other users with respect
• Provide honest and accurate information
• Not use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users

5. Communities

Community admins are responsible for managing their communities. Ridefy provides tools for community management but does not verify the identity of individual community members beyond social login. Community admins may set their own community rules in addition to these Terms.

6. Cost Sharing

Ridefy facilitates cost sharing between drivers and passengers. Payments are arranged directly between users. Ridefy does not process payments or take commissions. Cost sharing should be limited to actual trip costs (fuel, tolls, parking) and must not constitute commercial activity.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ridefy is a platform connecting riders. We are not liable for:

• The conduct of any user, whether online or offline
• Accidents, injuries, or property damage during rides
• Disputes between users regarding payments or ride arrangements
• The accuracy of user-provided information

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us (which is €0 for the free service).

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@ridefy.fi.

9. Intellectual Property

The Ridefy name, logo, and all related designs are the property of Procode Oy. You may not use our branding without written permission.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes. Continued use of Ridefy after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
